James Kondo, Visiting Professor

From June 2011, Prof. James Kondo joins the impressive team of new faculty members at Hitotsubashi ICS. As Visiting Professor, he will teach the MBA Business and Policy course starting next year.

James is currently Head of Twitter Japan, and an Advisory Board Member to the GE Chairman for Healthymagination. In addition to being a Yale World Fellow, James Kondo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He brings with him a diverse range of experiences spanning areas in business, government, think-tank, the social sector, and the academia. His experiences include being a consultant at McKinsey's global strategy group and its economic think-tank, McKinsey Global Institute, a political appointee in the Office of the Prime Minister of Japan, and co-founding the world class Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI). In addition, James was an Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo, and set up and serves in several social initiatives.
