Shingo Oue

Associate Professor
International Business Strategy

Professor Oue was an Assistant Professor at Hitotsubashi University's Faculty of Commerce starting in 1995 and became an Associate Professor in 1999. He joined Hitotsubashi University's Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy as an Associate Professor in 2000.

Education

Professor Shingo Oue received a BA in Business (Operations Research) from Hitotsubashi University, an MA in Business from Hitotsubashi University, an MS in Statistics from Carnegie-Mellon University, and a PhD in Statistics from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Current Research and Activities

Professor Oue's research interests include (a) Nonlinear Multivariate Analysis, (b) Data Visualization, and (c) Statistical Modeling in Marketing and Corporate Finance. He is also working in the private sector developing free high-end data analysis software for a company called ef-prime, inc.
