Company Sponsorships

At Hitotsubashi ICS, we offer company-sponsored students a special one-year option as part of our regular full-time day MBA program. Students who are sponsored by their companies enroll at ICS in late September and graduate in August of the following year. They are completely integrated into our MBA program in International Business Strategy and must meet the same academic requirements as all other students.

For Japanese companies and their employees alike, there are a number of significant benefits associated with company sponsorships at Hitotsubashi ICS:

• Company-sponsored students are able to participate in a high-quality graduate business program in a concentrated 12-month period, thus providing them with the incentive to broaden their business knowledge and to accelerate their careers.
• Although all classes are held at our campus in the National Center of Sciences in downtown Tokyo, the Hitotsubashi ICS learning experience is completely multicultural in nature. Approximately half of our incoming students are from other countries, and the teaching takes place entirely in English. This enables company-sponsored students to have a truly international experience in the heart of Japan.
• Company-sponsored students are able to maintain a continuing physical proximity with their home offices for the duration of their studies. This is also a cost-effective way for companies to invest in their employees, because relocation expenses are minimal and tuition fees at Hitotsubashi ICS are low, as befits a national university.
