Financial aid is available to students attending Hitotsubashi ICS, but the amount varies from year to year. For information on financial assistance, as well as application forms for scholarships and grants, please inquire at the Hitotsubashi ICS Administration Office in the spring term of the academic year.
Financial assistance for Hitotsubashi ICS students falls into two main categories: (1) non-Japanese nationals, and (2) Japanese nationals.
During the 2010-2011 academic year, approximately half of non-Japanese students are awarded scholarships and grants ranging from 750,000 yen to 2,000,000 yen. Detailed information on financial aid for the 2012-2013 academic year will be available in the summer of 2012.
Scholarships and grants for non-Japanese nationals are awarded to entering students with the following qualifications:
- Non-Japanese citizenship
- Outstanding admission record
- Not already a recipient of other scholarships
- Self-financed and in need of financial aid
Approximately half of the Japanese students in the current class at Hitotsubashi ICS is sponsored by their company of employment.
For those who are not, financial aid is available. Information on financial assistance can be found in Japanese on the main Hitotsubashi University campus website. These financial aid programs start in April each year, in accordance with the Japanese academic school year.
