Welcome to Our Campus
The Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy (ICS) is located in Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda-ku, near Tokyo's business and government center, and just a few blocks from the Imperial Palace. Hitotsubashi University, which was founded in 1875, is named after the location where the ICS campus now stands, but all of its undergraduate programs, as well as the other graduate schools of Hitotsubashi University, are now located in Kunitachi in the suburbs of west Tokyo. Hitotsubashi ICS is housed in the newly constructed National Center of Sciences (Gakujutsu Sogo Center), a 22-story "intelligent" building located next to the Hitotsubashi Alumni Building, Josui Kaikan.
Hitotsubashi ICS occupies floors five through nine of the National Center of Sciences, which opened in April 2000. The remainder of the building is home to Ministry of Education-affiliated research centers and agencies, several large conference rooms, a 500-seat auditorium, and a parking lot at basement level. In addition to state-of-the-art meeting and teaching facilities, ICS-affiliated faculty, staff, and students can also take advantage of an indoor sports facility, 18 guest rooms, and a cafeteria.
